Haiku Challenge
Updated 01.27 - so what was I doing in this cemetery in Jens, Switzerland? If you look at the far most grave stone on the left you'll see a little sprig of blond hair peaking out on top. That is the three-year old daughter of my dear friend, M. L, her daughter, knows no English. I know no German. So I learned the word for "run", and that's what we did. I chased her, she chased me. It was good fun. And it was a lovely cemetery.
Hey there blogger buds. Woops! I forgot to post the challenge last night. Would you believe me if I told you it was Jack's fault? It was Monday, ya know.
Post your haiku in the comments and in a few days I'll tell you what I was doing in this pic!

young girl skipping, stones.
stone tombs marking those passing
among blooms of life
Life's dance is seen here
After planting and weeding
The back needs to stretch!
Juxtaposition
The stillness below jealous
Of movement above
hmmm. all good indeed.
"young" in question as she runs
chased by little one
And there's a hidden
Sequence in where she's going
Knowing, all this time.
undaunted by death
she does her calisthenics
in the old graveyard
as our love'd ones rest
we're left behind to wonder
if their souls live on
ooh, nice ones guys! been a crazy busy week - sorry for my absence.
stylish choice of sweats
she makes a hasty retreat
NO STEALING FLOWERS!
I didn't even notice the little blonde head! Looks like a good place to play tag.
cindra - it was a lot of fun, mostly because she didn't expect to hear something from my mouth that she understood. So it was a fun surprise, and she loved it.
