Ode to Packing
(sung to the tune of "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall")
Five boxes packed in my house,
Five boxes packed.
Grab some stuff,
Shove it right in,
Six boxes packed in my house.
Six boxes packed in my house,
Six boxes packed.
Grab some stuff,
Shove it right in,
Seven boxes packed in my house.
Everybody now!

Don't forget to label them!
Dude, so exciting! (And, a great chance to get rid of any old junk you still clinging to!)
Keep it up girl! You'll get there.
I'll wait until you have the car packed before I wave :)
Very happy for you, enjoy the adventure.
Maybe this song would have helped me when we moved last time.
Then again, probably not.
Keep at it! I'll send you some supporting thoughts!
grumble - you got it! big red marker in hand!
jake - oh my! there is so much junk. i'm giving away, throwing away, donating...you name it. it's remarkable all the junk we harbor that could be used by others. it's shameful really.
mary - thanks mary! i will, i will. Geez, i sound like the Little Engine that Could.
pauline - Aw, thanks for your kindness pauline. that is so sweet. and appreciated.
arm - thanks for the warm thoughts. and the song, i think it was a feeble attempt to keep a chuckle in my heart as i continue packing, yet find more and more that still needs to be packed. GA! it's neverending.
A box of big garbage bags
under the kitchen sink
fill them with things you know you don't need
hurry quick, don't even blink!
take them to Goodwill and drop them off
be sure to get a receipt
when tax time comes
it'll be a write off
it really can't be beat!

If you ever need any duct tape work, I'm your man.
cin - that's awesome! and ha! that's exactly what I'm doing. Yay, itemizing!
katie - i am on the move. and my current place is a disaster. my older son keeps asking when it's going to be clean again, and I told him that it will be like this until we move! poor guy.
