I was reminded today of this haiku I wrote for Sebastien when I noticed that he hadn't posted in a while. I think it's fitting for me at this time as well.
sometimes it is good to step away and breathe a bit lest we lose our breath
K, here's a tip for starters: when moving with children, label one box for each child. one LARGE box for each. don't fold any laundry for the two weeks prior to the move date. require children to fetch clothes from piles each day (not that this is a far cry from the daily norm). On night before move, shove each kids' unfolded clean laundry into respective boxes. tape shut and lable accordingly. after move when kids need clothes, direct them to the box with their name labeled, "clean clothes".
It's definitely good, Good for Me!! It takes a lot of time and energy to get settled into a new home. And you need your time to acclimate and....well, breathe!!
Growing pains are called that for a reason...there is always an element of pain with change, whether it be mental, physical, emotional...you'll not only survive...you will thrive!
EVERYONE :) You have been such kind blogger friends to continue to come and visit me when I am hibernating beneath the heaps of boxes and work and humidity!
pauline, jake, cindra - thank you for coming to say hello. even though i'm not visiting anyone or posting anything, it sure is nice to see your names and comments appear here :)
Sorry to leave this in a comment...I didn't see another way to contact you.
I stumbled across your site while searching for blogs that had a similar concept to my site I am developing. You had a post that was "100 things about me". I was wondering if you would like to submit it to my site. The site is http://just100things.com. It is just up and coming and would really enjoy some participation!
My name is Kevin by the way...hope to see you there!

Sebastien is a wise one. It's all good. Your life is very busy now and we're not going anywhere. Now have fun moving/unpacking.
Mias oiu mon ami. C'est vrai. And you...getting very exciting! Only days now...
Yep, just days, in the teens now, away. (gulp) I will be hitting you up for motherly advice very soon.
You're gonna be great!
