Getting Started

for me, it's the getting started part that takes all the energy. the mulling and musing and brainstorming and flipping through ideas until every one has its page turned down to come back to later. i pawn it off to letting the creative juices flow, for as long as that takes, just to be certain that I'm saying exactly what should be said. when in truth, at the core of it, i'm scared to commit. even just to putting words out there. even to that.
