You could sell these photos they are marvelous! I see them on a Hallmark card or a calendar. What do you think? $ money in your pocket for your lovely eye on nature.... Love Pauline
egan - not a holly tree. holly trees are part of the evergreen family and don't lose their leaves (they are my state tree. see this is further evidence of my geekness). but i don't know what this tree is. it was in the parking lot of a coffee shop the boys and i stopped at yesterday. it was so amazing, i had to take some pics.
mary - yeah, when traveling to CT i was expecting to see a lot of ice. once we crossed into NJ there was none on the trees. hope Michael got in safely.
well titled, these photos are incredible! Pauline, my thoughts exactly -- I have bought X-mas cards from Nature orgs like it, as the red berries and snow/ice kind of say holiday without saying which.
Sydney - welcome! and thank you! i'll have to keep this in mind when i'm searching for holiday cards next year ;-) huh, not sure i've seen a holly bush. the holly around here are large trees. a good factoid of yours indeed!

Very beautiful. I saw hints of the ice on the way to BWI yesterday but not until we crossed Bay bridge.
