Body Language
Our bodies talk to us. Not in a weird hooky-sooky way. But there are reasons that we experience pain, fear, discomfort, depression.
A woman in my church died last Wednesday. She was diagnosed about a year ago with a brain tumor. The only symptom she had was headaches. She was 27 when she died. Married with two small boys.
When I heard of her death I had been dealing with my persistent headache for about two weeks. The next day I went to the doctor and several days later I got a CT scan. I'm still waiting for the results.
Life is precious. Listen to your body.
Hugs,
GFM

Holy shit, I'm glad you didn't waste any time to get this checked out. I'm so sorry to hear about the young woman in your church. Yes, do enjoy each day to its fullest.
Yes, it's been very sad for her family and our church.
Thanks, Im hoping that CT comes up clean.
See but that's exactly the kind of thing you don't get checked out. Very scary. Terribly sad. I am sure you are fine.
Oh Beckylein ... when do you get the result? We are going tomorrow night to TESSIN (you remember)... can we skype tomorrow? We are leaving at 7.00 PM my time! Miss you MONI
I hope you hear about the CT soon. I'm very freaked out for you because I went through the same thing back when I was 18. It's very, very scary and all kinds of things run through your mind. Luckily, it was just a cyst, but you never know. Be persistent with your doctors - do not let them wave you aside. I'll be thinking of you.
I will be thinking good thoughts for you and the CT scan.
It is always a shock when someone young dies. I hope you only have headaches due to stress or allergies. I remember praying that God would spare me until my family was old enough to provide for themselves....Now I will offer a special prayer for you that all is well. Sometimes we have a headache and worry needlessly that it is a tumor...Love to you with deep concern.
Aw, I am so sorry. About your friend and about your worries. Hang in there...and think positive. Most often, it is not anything as big as we fear...I know it's easy for me to say...but I know what you are talking about. XO
I'm so sorry to hear stories like that. I pray your results are negative (I'm sure they will be) but it's a very good idea to have this test done.
My family and I were very worried about this, since I was experiencing headaches, but in a sense I'm lucky, it's the virus giving me all this grief...
mary - you're so right. i normally would just let something like this linger. as i have some other chronic things. gonna take care of it all now. no one's getting younger!
moni - yes friend, we can skype. love you and have a wonderful vacation!!!
arm - so sorry you had to deal with that, and at 18. must have been scary for you and your family. glad it wasn't anything major. you're so sweet. thanks for your thoughts!
cervelo - thanks, friend. i so appreciate that!
pauline - everything you said is so right on. i think it may just be a combination of stress and allergies. and i'm thankful for your prayers and conern. God is good.
chikken - thanks lovey. i usually do the opposite and assume it's nothing. so getting it checked is a huge step for me. xoxo
seb - yeah, stories like the one about this young woman just suck. i think it showed me how fragile life is. i can only imagine what you and your family went through when you were getting the headaches. it's amazing what a little bugger like a virus can do. darn things!
That IS scary !!
I'm glad that you are taking wonderful care of yourself!
katie - i'm a tryin'! :)
For me headaches are usually caused by my glasses being squished all crooked. Or my head getting slammed into the TKD mat. :-P I hope yours is something really simple!
candace - that's funny. thankfully my head's not getting sqwooshed, but I do wear glasses :)
