Just A Few More Things

These aren't as serious, and will hopefully give Egan some good teasing material.

1. I can eat an entire jar of green olives in one sitting. I might even drink some of the juice.

2. When I was a kid my cat, Ami, and I used to share this love for olives while watching General Hospital after school. (I went to school. Ami stayed home guarding our olives.)

3. I was the neon fashion, black rubber bracelet wearing, Madonna wanna-be trend setter at my middle school. The look took off. Yes, it really was as frightening as it sounds.

4. If I bend all of my toes down on one foot except for the second one, I swear it looks like E.T.

5. I once broke the tip off my ski.........while cross country skiing.

6. I love goofy humor like Top Secret and A Praire Home Companion. I'm quite a goof when I'm most comfortable.

My brain is sort of empty and I need to get to bed. Until tomorrow friends!

Well, do you like movies aobut gladiators too?

Thanks for adding a few to the list. When I was in grade school I wanted one of those black and red leather coats that Michael Jackson wore. Why? Because he had curly hair and was kind of famous.

Ok...the olive thing is freaking me out. Not because it's gross. Oh no. Because green olives are my weakness. They rule!!

I cannot eat a green olive. But I like black olives!

cervelo - in fact i do! i've seen Gladiator twice. Jacquin's character in that film is just fascinating and he impressed me so with his acting.

The red pleather jacket is priceless. I can picture it on you with your caucasian fro. I had the parachute pants.

arm - that is freaky...i think you and i could thoroughly enjoy some time together! here's the question for you. have you tried garlic stuffed olives? yum-dilly-icious!

katie - oooh! black, green, kalmata, spanish, stuffed...whatever baby! i love black in salads.

cervelo - surprised you didn't note that my cat's name was French?

I guess that is a French name. I tend to overlook all things feline, my bad.

Hey, did you catch that my line about gladiators is a line from the movie Airplane?

But yes, Joaquin was hot in Gladiator. He's pretty good in almost every movie he does. He got robbed for Walk the Line.

I have!! Those are good, but I don't indulge in those too often. Old reliable is the good ole pimento. I remember going to slumber party once where my friends were so grossed out that I kept eating the green olives. Their loss.

cervelo - you don't like cats? Ahhh! this is something i just don't get. and i totally didn't get the Airplane reference. can you believe i've never seen those movies. must see!

i completely agree that he got robbed for Walk the Line. That movie and his performance were unreal. So talented.

arm - that's hysterical. yeah, i've had that same reaction. you either love 'em or hate 'em. they are a delightful treat!

10/12 huh? perhaps i can gift you with a jar of olives?

So hot he was. He did all the singing too. He's a very rare breed in Hollywood for sure.

I dont' hate cats, that's not me. Seriously, but my wife is truly allergic. We had dogs when I was a kid. We'll be in Florida later this week with my in-laws so it's cat city. I should post a photo today on my blog showing my love for them.

You haven't seen Airplane and you never heard of Cervelo before a couple weeks ago? What kind of Singe Stalker are you?

For the record, I never owned parachute pants. They were too expensive and they didn't come in the hand-me-down bag.

I love a Prairie Home Companion. I take a lot of crap for that, not just from friends, but from my parents too, haha...

cervelo - yes, a rare breed indeed. i completely get the allergy thing. i too am now allergic and it's a tragedy really. hope you're having a wonderful timein FL, and please make sure Mrs. Lessinges takes her allergy meds :)

understood on the pants thing. recently my older son told me in private that he's so glad he's not the younger one since he gets the new clothes from the store!

seb - oh, yay! so glad i have a friend who gets my love for Prairie. I rarely mention it cuz people don't know what i'm talking about. i once watched it on public television station, but it's so much better over the radio.
