Haiku Hiatus
Dear Faithful Haiku Challenge Entrants.
My sincerest apologies for not posting the Haiku Challenge tonight. I have been otherwised engaged with a fifteen hour workday that has just come to an end.
Though I leave you not with a photo to inspire your own haiku, I do leave you with my own creation. Perhaps it will inspire you. Or perhaps it will put you to sleep.

Droopy eyes and foggy brain
Get me to my bed

nice one l'amoureux. i think an entire blog could be dedicated to this artform. perhaps i will start one. or better yet, you would have to define the "verification" word...then use it in a haiku!
okay, maybe that's a little overboard.
"uarfmp" - the sighing sound you make when you get into bed only to realize that the fitted sheet corner has just unfitted itself and you now have to refit it whilst laying atop the bed.
