Two More Days!
I can hardly wait. Vacation starts in two days and I have been incredibly distracted at work anticipating two weeks off. Two weeks off!!! Woohoo! My boys will be in school most of the first week so I will have some much needed time to myself. Time to get ready for the holiday, catch up with friends, clean the house in preparation for my dad coming to visit, and time to just be. I like that.
The best part about this vacation...I'm not going anywhere!

uxThis sounds soo wonderful ... I totaly know what you mean. But I am not sure if its realy the best part that you are not going anywhere? What about going to Switzerland :-)? This would be still the best part ever! I wish you a wonderful time and peace which comes only from heave. I will miss you like crazy ... but it is still christmas!
Yay! Holidays time is such a relief! I think the part I like best about having a vacation is finally having the time to do nothing!

oh monilein. i miss you so much too! Of course it would be even better if I could be in Switzerland at your house doing nothing...except taking naps and drinking coffee and eating chocolate and listeing to Norah. I mailed your package yesterday so you should have it in a week.
I get about 11 days off starting Dec. 22! I agree, not going anywhere is the best vacation!
jake - for me that's exactly true. i know there are people who love every day of vacation booked with sight seeing and going here and there. but with the pace of my life, that's just as exhausting as every other day.
